We grew up calling this syndrome "songitis." Simple, brief. It stuck, like Pachelbel's Canon.
Hhahahah..nice...never heard that term..makes sense..My earworms are more of an amusing annoyance...It's interesting that they are starting to study them...I think, they think, it may be related to OCD....
